Solar facilities represent a stable source of revenue for localities and impose very few costs on public services. The American Clean Power Association estimates that utility-scale solar projects pay over $550 million annually in land lease payments to landowners across the U.S. and pay over $375 million in annual tax payments to state and local jurisdictions.
